Civil Air Patrol is pleased to announce a new opportunity for units to raise much-needed funds. Civil Air Patrol has entered into a partnership with Fundlink to build a CAP Virtual Shopping Mall that allows users to benefit specific units in CAP. Fundlink provides organizations with customizable online shopping malls for members and friends to shop and benefit their organization.

Accessed through this link http://cap.fundlinkllc.com  customers can shop at over 1,000 different stores including Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, and more. Every time a customer makes a purchase, the retailer will donate a portion of the proceeds – from 2 to 15 percent – to the unit the user chooses. Customers can also choose to donate directly to Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters.

Anyone can shop from the site and there is no registration or login required. All they need to do is select a unit from the list of beneficiaries. Donations will be sent directly to CAP National Headquarters along with a breakdown of squadrons and amounts. The money will then be sent to the Wing for further disbursement.
